Winter Events!
November 28th-30th Festival of Trees. The incredible event is something the entire family will never forget! The Coeur d'Alene Plaza Shops are transformed into a Christmas Wonderland with carolers, gingerbread houses, and of courses, beautifully decorated Christmas Trees by professional designers. All trees are auctioned off at the end of the event, with the proceeds going to a local charity. Coeur d'Alene Plaza Shops located on Sherman Avenue, downtown Coeur d'Alene. Novemember 28th Come to downtown Coeur d’Alene the day after Thanksgiving for the 16th Annual Downtown Coeur d'Alene Holiday Light Show Parade starting at 8th and Sherman Avenue at 5 pm followed by a spectacular fireworks show and lighting ceremony at 6pm!
November 28- December 31st - Journey to the North Pole Cruises. Visit Mr. and Mrs. Claus on the far shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene where at "The North Pole" a magical toyland, with a variety of holiday themes, many with animated features, will suddenly appear out of the darkness. Victorian Village is adorned with over 5,000 lights! You will view the show aboard one of the fabulous cruise boats of The Lake Coeur d'Alene Fun Fleet. Board at The Coeur d'Alene Resort. Friday Dec. 12th -Art Walk Downtown Coeur d'Alene. 2nd Friday of the month. Enjoy an evening of exceptional art, fine dining and friends. From 5-8 pm galleries host opening receptions with the opportunity to meet the artists, listen to live music and view newly arrived works of art, all within an easy strolling distance. December 14th -North Idaho Bed and Breakfast Association 20th Annual Holiday Tour 12-5 p.m.This tour is FREE and open to the public. Visit B&B's in the Coeur d'Alene area, Post Falls, north to Athol and Rathdrum and south to St. Maries. You will see beautifully decorated homes ready for the holiday season, all serving delightful refreshments. Maps and driving directions will be available at all participating B&B's, or visit the association website to see a list of those participating and print your own map, For more information, 208-664-9650.
January lst - Annual hangover run, 5 mile run. Wear a crazy costume to start the new year! Also, the annaul polar bear plunge at Sanders Beach.
