 Monday June 21st - lst Day of Summer!

Sunday, June 27- One of the toughest events in the world of sports, more than 2,000 athletes will compete in the Ford Ironman Coeur d'Alene Triathlon. A 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run in succession. Athletes begin their day at 7:00 a.m. and have until midnight to complete the course. July 3-5 Bayview Daze, when Bayview hosts a street bazaar, a parade at 11am on Saturday, and a lighted boat parade at dusk with fireworks at 10pm.  The city will also have a free 25th Army Band Concert at 2pm on Sunday.

Sunday July 4th -  The Coeur d'Alene 4th of July Festival  is the perfect way for the family to celebrate our Nation's Birthday! The day consists of several events including The American Hero's Parade Downtown Coeur d'Alene on Sherman Avenue.    Time: The fun begins with the parade at 11:00a.m and goes into the night with the Fireworks display beginning at dusk.  For more information: Please call 208-664-3194, extension 170 or visit their Website at www.cdachamber.com.

Friday July 9th - Second Friday Artwalk - event on every second Friday.  Enjoy an evening of fantastic art, music,fine dining, and friends in beautiful Downtown Coeur d’Alene.

Saturday July 10th - 8th Annual Woodenstock Boat Festival.  In Sandpoint Antique and Classic Boat Society judged show, farmers market, model boat parade, childrens activities, Duck float, Wooden Boat Parade.   www.sandpoint.org/boatfestival

July 9-10  Eudurocross Motorcycle Event at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

July 16-17  The River City Rod Run at the Hot Rod Cafe - Show opens at 5p.m. Friday with the Burnout contest from 7-9pm.  Saturday all day show and exhibitions.  Miss Hot Rod Contest, Flame Throwing Contest, Burnout Contest, and more!  Rob Elder 777-1212

July 16-17  Rathdrum Days - vendors, food, live entertainment, games, a classic car show, skateboarding contest and weiner dog races.

 July 23-25 - Julyamsh Pow Wow Greyhound Park &Events Center, 5100 Riverbend Ave., Post Falls.  One of the largest outdoor Pow-Wow's in the nation complete with Native American dancers, musicians, arts and crafts from local tribes and others from the region.

 Friday, July 23, through Saturday, July 24, The 2010 Hayden Days Celebration will be held from at Hayden City Park, 8930 North Government Way (beside Hayden City Hall), Hayden, Idaho.  This festival is a family-themed event, highlighting local performers. The festival will offer a wide variety of food vendors, crafts and information booths.  Northern Lakes Fire District & the Hayden Chamber of Commerce will be providing a pancake breakfast the morning of Saturday, July 24, from 7:00-9:00 a.m. @ the Hayden City Park Gazebo.

Hayden Lake Rotary will host a Car Show on Saturday, July 24, at Hayden City Park.  Check-in is @ 9:00 a.m.  Awards announced at 4:00 p.m.  This year’s Hayden Days Parade will start at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 24.  The parade will start at Hayden Avenue and proceed south along Government Way to Honeysuckle Avenue, ending in the vicinity of the city baseball field on Honeysuckle Avenue.  Updates to festival information can be found online here or at www.haydenlakerotary.org.

July 30 - Aug 1 - My favorite weekend!  Join me in the celebration of art, creativity and friendship at the 42nd Annual Art on the Green in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho!

August 6-7  Motorcross at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

August 20-22 Diamond Cup Regatta  A weekend dedicated to the hydroplane races from 1958 to 1968 before finance troubles ended the run. It won't bring the races back, but it will offer the nostalgic a chance to remember the glory days - including a ride in the smooth vessels - while raising money for the Museum of North Idaho..

August 21-22  Wooden Boat Festival at the Resort Boardwalk.

September 2-5  Idaho State HOG Rally at the Fairgrounds!
